My insurance company sent me to another company when I recieved my second pair of hearing aids. I decided to try the new company, but soon knew I was not happy, but stuck with them awhile. After months of dissatisfaction with the service they provided I decided to return to Silicon Valley Hearing and pay for their excellent service privately. They are most professional, friendly, and knowledgeable and if you have a problem with the equipment they go the extra mile to make sure you are satisfied. Besides they strive to make you happy and Dr. Novick is wonderful as are all the other employees, I can't stress highly enough their excellent work.
Dr. Novick is knowledgeable, caring and goes the extra mile to make certain her patients' needs are met. She works well with patients whose audiological issues are atypical. Dr. Novick also follows-up post-treatment to make certain everything continues to be in working order.
I asked my neighbors who both have hearing aids if they would recommend the Audiologist that helped them. They told me about Silicon Valley Hearing and Doctor Novick. I am so glad they did. Everyone is friendly and put you at ease when you first come into the office. Doctor Novick and her staff are very knowledgeable and inform you of the hearing test procedure to determine the best hearing aid that will fit your need. They are also very good about following up to be sure all is working properly and answering questions you may have.

Prior to visiting Silicon Valley Hearing, I had seen 4-5 audiologists and ENTs regarding issues relating to tinnitus and hyperacusis. All other doctors had left me with a feeling of disappointment and despair, with no hope for improvement or even offering an understanding of what was happening with these conditions. Compared to the previous doctors, my experience with Dr Novick was completely different. She is extremely knowledgeable and can explain in-depth exactly what is happening inside your body and brain. She shows great care and compassion and a deep understanding and empathy for patients afflicted with hyperacusis. With the aid of a therapist in conjunction with Dr. Novick, I have achieved massive breakthroughs and improvements in quality of life that I had previously not thought possible. As I write this review, I am continuing to improve, and with Dr Novick's help, expect to keep on this path. If you are someone struggling with hyperacusis, I strongly urge you to contact Dr Novick; she could change your life like she has changed mine.

Very good session for receiving my hearing aids. Dr Marni and her assistant explained everything very well. Balancing the treble/bass took a little time, but it is working very well and I am happy with the adjustments.

Dr. Novick is very accomplished and professional, with state-of-the-art hearing testing facilities. My Phonak digital hearing aids are computer- tuneable, with automatic feedback elimination. It is a treat to listen as the computer automatically goes through diagnostic tests to determine the exact equalization curves for both ears! Dr. Novick even fitted one of my hearing aids with a custom mold earpiece that conformed exactly to my unusual ear canal. Thanks to Dr. Novick, I can now enjoy birds singing, and the lovely sound of my wife's voice across the room! I would not hesitate to recommend Silicon Valley Hearing to anyone.

I recommend Silicon Valley Hearing (or SVH) with Dr. Marni Novick over any other of the several audiologists in the SF South Bay that I and my friends have been to over the years. Many offices have staff that are similar - friendly and good at the traditional skills. Traditional examples are hearing tests and matching hearing aids to the tests. SVH's skills also include managing the new features from this century. This is a rare talent. "Dr. Marni" knows the current generation of hearing aid features inside out. These are things like direct link from your cell phone to skip all the noise and interference of cell speaker and hearing aid microphone ! Another example is connecting a wireless directional microphone to get around some restaurant or in-the-car noise. The best part - Dr. Marni knows when these features are good, when they're not, and how they work. She can even tell things like "is your cell compatible" ! This is not true at all Audiologist's offices, (and sadly I am not making this up). Over the years Dr. Marni has always treated me like family, and has has got me good answers. Try Dr. Marni. I am extremely pleased with the professional knowledge and service of Marni Novick. She took the time to make sure I was happy with my hearing aids and that everything was meeting my expectations. I have had a couple of problems with wax filter and she always makes time to help me replace it when needed at no additional charge. Since I am older I don't have real good sight and finger coordination with my hands and that is why I have had a problem with wax filter replacement. I had already decided which hearing aids I wanted and did my own research online and had already had a hearing test from another hearing aid specialist. Part of my online research lead me to finding her online and reading all the recommendations from her clients. I wished I would have started with her first and glad that I decided to use her. She gave a lot more care and as part of her service she maintains additional care and service for a longer period of time with no additional cost. I highly recommend using her from the start and don't think you can find a better audiologist and is worth the cost.

I previously had hearing aids through Costco but was unable to get to a satisfactory setting after several attempts. Due to loss I had to purchase new devices and decided to try Dr. Novick who had already seen my wife for a hearing issue and I was impressed with her knowledge and analytical approach. I have not been disappointed. We have had several appointments to get it right with different manufacturers and models and she has always been attentive and shown an eagerness to solve my problem. If unsatisfied with understanding and adjustments available at Costco, I recommend consulting with her.
I love the whole team and experience. I did have some issues and they were all fixed. Dr. Novick is the BEST!
